Celery Seeds taste like celery, with the same aromatic and astringent quality in raw stalks of the celery plant. The seeds have a savoury, earthy character as well as a somewhat bitter flavour, which increases when the spice is used in its ground form.

The seeds are used in herbal remedies as well as in cooking and even as an ingredient in tea blends. A source of antioxidants and dietary fibre with micronutrients, celery seed is traditionally regarded as beneficial for better sleep and enhanced cognition. It may also assist with lowering blood pressure and has anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties.

Dried product is not suitable for planting.
