Cleavers Herb

Sometimes also known as Clivers, Cleavers is a common weed and herb with many reputed traditional health properties. 
Historically it was used as a diuretic, vulnerary, detoxifying agent, mild laxative, anti-inflammatory, astringent and tonic. Cleavers was also used as a love tonic by one Native American tribe, whose women used the herb in a bath to be successful in love. It was also used as a hair tonic, reportedly to make it grow long and thick. In Sweden, cleavers was, and still is, used for filtering milk, which is said to give it healing properties.
