Devil's claw was introduced to Europe in the early 1900s, where the dried roots were traditionally used to restore appetite, relieve heartburn, and reduce pain and inflammation.
It is also known as Harpagophytum, grapple plant and wood spider
Botanical Name: Harpagophytum procumbens
Do not use if suffering from gastric or duodenal ulcers.
Brewing Instructions:
Use quality filtered water if possible to ensure a superior cup of tea.
Place 1 teaspoon in 250ml of hot water and brew on medium heat for 10 minutes.
Strain and enjoy. Add a teaspoon of honey if required.
