Gumbi Gumbi Leaf – Also known as Native Apricot this native herb (Pittosporum angustifolium) grows in the outback areas of Australia. The leaves have been brewed as a tonic by Australia’s First nations people for thousands of years. It's regarded as a general wellness herb with suggestions it assists to boost the immune system against colds, aids healthy cell growth, whilst also having a positive effect on simple skin conditions.
This product is 100% wild harvested by indigenous communities.
Serving Suggestion: We recommend you take 4 - 5 leaves, crush them in the base of your palm, and brew in about 250ml of boiled water. Let steep for 10 - 15 minutes. Use a fine mesh or sieve to separate the leaves from the liquid. Sip and enjoy.
Flavour: Lightly bitter and peppery
