Mustard seeds are a very popular ingredient in cooking, with a well loved pungent flavour. Mustard seeds also find a place in the Bible and their first usage is recorded in Indian Ayurvedic texts that date back thousands of years. 

Black mustard seeds are actually dark brown in colour and add a unique depth to many dishes. They have a stronger taste than yellow mustard seeds (which we also stock these in our Ebay store). 

Apart from food, mustard seeds are traditionally regarded as holding a range of health benefits which may include rheumatism, respiratory issues & menopausal symptoms.

Mustard seeds can also be used as a natural scrub for the skin and hydrating the skin as they are high in vitamins A, C and K. Mustard seeds are also high in dietary fibre and also contain protein, calcium and omega 3 & 6 fatty acids which contribute to hair strength and growth.
